A feast of West African and Senegalese cuisine through the recipes of chef Pierre Thiam. You’ll sample some traditional foods that have similarities to the cooking of the American south as well as new recipes influenced by Vietnamese and French sources. Typical food ingredients include hibiscus, tamarind, black eyed peas, rice, millet, squash, fish/seafood and lamb. Oh and a little bit of hot (pepper).
