A favorite memory is the Scottish Rite in all its glory: The drops, the balcony (where Michael the clown danced on the rail), the stage thrust into the audience, and the preview shows with so much community enthusiasm! I think the Abbey has the essence of that old lovable space. Revels is a community on and off stage! Betsy: cool and beautifully human under pressure ALWAYS with such deep musical root in so many genres – her warm-ups for the bass section were magical. Robert: A deep love and communication with music grand and sublime – Geoffrey – my first audition in 1999 when I sang one of the cowboy songs I’d sing to my kids at bedtime (he told me after that I couldn’t use my guitar).  I’m grateful for the love and magical salad of music and community – tossed with passion and encouragement.
