Spring Revels

What is the Spring Revels?

The Spring Revels program grew out of a desire to invite diverse performance artists to create original pieces in the Revels style, including choral singing, audience participation, and seasonal celebrations of culture and community. Each production is the result of a collaboration between Portland Revels and local playwrights, actors, musicians, dancers, directors, and designers, to create something brand new by, about, and for different communities throughout the Portland area.

Spring Revels productions spend one weekend in a traditional theatre space, then tour to community locations throughout the Metro area and beyond.
