Laura Franklin Chisholm

I got hooked on Revels somewhere around age 10 at a Revels North production in Hanover, NH. They had me at Dona Nobis Pacem. I’ve sung it onstage with the chorus close to 100 times, and I still get goosebumps when that third part comes in. It’s as if existence pops into a fourth dimension of joy and love. Prior to joining the Portland Revels chorus I’d suffered from terrible stage fright. Under Robert’s and Betsy’s tutelage I’ve become a confident singer who can focus on beaming the joy and love I feel around me toward the audience.
