Mikki Lipsey

Mikki is honored to be back for her second year with Portland Revels. She hopes she gives proper homage to her great great grandmother Mary Larkin, who emigrated to America from Ireland in 1850. Before Mikki moved west, she worked with many Boston area companies, including American Repertory Theatre and Vokes, Concord and Hovey Players. Here in Portland she performs with Original Practice Shakespeare Festival (since 2009) and has been on their board since 2017.  She played Tim Stapleton’s mother in his auto biographical piece Leaning on Everlasting Arms, worked with Philip Cuomo in PAC’s production of Big Love, portrayed a street woman in Bruce Hostetler’s Feral, and was a member of the award winning ensemble production of Adrienne Flagg’s Note to Self. She has appeared on TV in Grimm, Librarians, Documentary Now!, and numerous episodes of Portlandia. Mikki loves living in Mirabella Portland with her husband, Steve, midway between their two children and three grandchildren.
