The True Stories Behind the Show…

Midwinter Revels productions always include rich traditions of music, dance and storytelling, presented through stories of strength, and overcoming adversity. Bread & Roses is no exception – this year’s show includes the stories of a variety of communities and composers, and pays homage to the advocacy efforts of so many throughout history – both in this country and around the world.

Browse through the page below and click on each picture to learn more about the history, traditions, and music included in the show, as well as some of the history of a few of our very own Revels community members!

Robert Lockwood leads the audience in a sing along in the 2018 production of Midwinter Revels, Nordic Lights.
