Portland Revels is seeking a part-time, temporary Lobby Coordinator for our 2025 Midwinter Revels production (performing December 12^th-21^st at the Scottish Rite Center).  Duties include: coordinating volunteers for our front of house; organizing and supporting volunteer trainings; supervising load-in, set up, and load-out of lobby activities; supervising lobby activities at performances; preparing merchandise for gift shop; preparing concessions items; various administrative tasks as directed by the Executive Director (ED).

Start Date: Between September 7^th and 12th
End Date: December 24^th, 2025

Sept 12-Dec 5th:
Hours as needed (up to 35) – directed and agreed upon in conversation with ED
Work will include recruiting and communicating with volunteers, lead volunteer trainings, and preparing items for the gift shop and concessions.

Dec 8^th-14:
Lobby Load-in Dec 8^th-10^th (Schedule determined by Lobby Coordinator & ED)
Preview December 11^th @7:30*
Performances: December 12^th @7:30*, December 13^th @1:00 & 7:30*, December 14^th @ 1:00*
(*): Call time 2-3 hours prior to curtain
Anticipated Hours: 32-35

Dec 15^th-Dec 21st:
Performances: December 19^th @7:30*, December 20^th @ 1:00 & 7:30*, December 21^st @1:00*
Load-Out December 21^st starting at 4:00pm
(*): Call time 2-3 hours prior to curtain
Anticipated Hours: 25

Dec 22^nd-Dec 24th:
Final clean up and close out (up to 5 hours)

Pay: $2500

The position is primarily remote until we move into the theatre.  Position must be present in person at load in, load out and all 9 performances (including preview).

We are looking for someone with strong people skills and organizational skills, with some administrative experience, and the ability to manage themselves and others. Good time management and clear communication are critical.  Driver’s license and access to a car is a plus.
